Sultan Abdul Samad Building in Kuala Lumpur

Sultan Abdul Samad Building is located in front of the Dataran Merdeka

- ( Independence Square ) - and the Royal Selangor Club,

The structure takes its name from Sultan Abdul Samad,

the reigning sultan of Selangor at the time of construction.

It is a major landmark in KL with its shiny copper domes

and 40 metres high, clock tower.

The building houses the Commercial Division of the High Court of Malaya.
