with a population of some 13 million.

 
  It is one of the most densely populated cities in the world.

Dhaka is known as the "City of Mosques"

and the "Rickshaw Capital of the World".

Dhaka is the banks of the Buriganga River.

 of the Dhaka Nawab Family.

It is now a museum.

It is on the banks of the Buriganga River.

 It  is one of the largest legislative complexes in the world.

Lalbagh Fort  ( "Fort Aurangabad" )

 is an incomplete Mughal palace fortress.

It is on the Buriganga River in SW Dhaka.

 Construction was begun in 1678.

Sadarghat

Sadarghat Launch Terminal ( Sadarghat Port )

 is one of the largest river ports in the world.

 It is a large wharf ( ghat )

on the banks of the Buriganga river in Dhaka.

"Tara Masjid"  is in the Armanitola area

 of the old part of the city.

 The mosque is decorated with motifs of blue stars.

 It was built in the first half of the 19th century.

Originally built as a town hall,

it is now part of the University of Dhaka.

  It is a symbol of the educational tradition of Bangladesh.
